Take an in-depth look at the PBS KIDS PLAY Classroom Edition, PBS' award-winning computer-based learning program for preschool, kindergarten and first grade. This cross-curricular program uses adaptive, self-leveling games to address 35 skill areas in 7 main subjects: literacy, language development, math, science, healthy development, social studies, and creativity. The program offers the flexibility to either integrate with your curriculum as a primary learning task or to be used as supplemental activities. PBS KIDS PLAY aligns with Common Core standards (http://bit.ly/Commoncore) at the K-1 level and McREL benchmarks at the preschool level. Furthermore, the adaptive game leveling is sequenced based on research by PBS's panel of leading experts as part of its Childhood Development Tracker, publicly available at pbsparents.org (http://www.pbs.org/parents/childdevelopmenttracker/experts.html).
